April 27th :)

So the highlight today was probably the conversation Tiana and I had in the library. After Chautauqua presentations in Weller's (she had a sub today), we were told to read our classic books and the young adult novels we're reading (for the project, we're reading 2 Y.A. novels and 1 Classic; we each chose a classic book off of the book list and chose two Y.A. novels listed under it for our books). Some went off to practice Chautauqua presentations and Tiana and I decided to go to the library. We had more than half the class time left after the presentations, so we spent a LOT of time in the library.

When we got up there, we found one of the Y.A. novels Tiana is going to read and we also found a Rugrats book. We sat under the window that overlooks the 7th grade hall on the blue floor seats... All I will say from our conversation is "goatfish" from Rugrats... we hid it underneath Tiana's chair when, towards the end of the day, Camren came over to talk to us, followed by Mr. Warner. When we left right before the school bell rang for the end of the day, we forgot the book there and we didn't realize it until a few hours after school had ended... Throughout the whole thing at the library, there was this random 7th grade kid who'd been sent there by Mr. Mantlo, and he just sat at the table the whole entire time and probably heard most of our conversation.... Hahahaha!
